6 weeks
INTEGRATED PLAYGROUPS

If one is available, bring your own buddy (BYOB!), either a friend or a sibling to group each week. In determining group placement, we will consider all information received about both your child and the planned buddy. Students will not necessarily just be paired up with the buddy they bring but with the most appropriate buddy match available. REACH may also provide buddies for these Playgroups. Integrated playgroups are for 1.5 hours weekly.

Each playgroup will have a minimum of 4 kids and maximum of 6 kids. Each session will be led by an experienced Social Skills instructor, an assistant will be provided as needed.

One day
SOCIAL RECREATIONAL EVENTS
for ages 4-16

These one day special events are planned to give children who experience social skill difficulty a chance to participate in age appropriate social activities with support and facilitation from experienced social coaches. For each event we will provide visual supports, broken down skills, modified pacing of social interactions and the opportunity for children to have repeated practice of the skills being addressed. Events are typically for 2 hours and some examples are:

*Mini-sleep over: wear pj’s, bring sleeping bag & pillow, have pizza for dinner, play games and watch a movie. Work on conversation skills, cooperation, and hanging out!

*Let’s hang: work on hanging out skills- play video games, conversation, pizza, and more!

* Dolls/Tea party: get dressed up, bring a favorite doll or stuffed animal and come to our tea party, participate in theme related games and arts & crafts.

*Train play: bring your favorite train and come prepared to play trains with other kids that love trains too! Participate in theme related games and arts & crafts.
